All Delta’s Cooling Towers will feature NEMA Premium®
Efficient motors standard. Premium efficient motors can dramatically
reduce energy costs, increase productivity, and conserve energy.
NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) in 2003 developed
these NEMA Premium® efficiency specifications to identify the
most efficient motors available. While forward thinking customers
have already been requesting Premium efficiency, Delta is taking
the initiative to be the 1st cooling tower manufacturer to standardize
on NEMA Premium® Efficiency.
These severe cooling tower duty motors will be backed by 3-5 Year
warranties, reduce downtime and will be even more reliable than
previous offerings. Delta’s cooling towers have already been
the choice for long-term reliability with the 15-Year warranty on
the casing, seamless molded basins, and direct-drive no-maintenance
fan assemblies.
The NEMA Premium® efficient motors are suitable for VFD packages
for further energy savings. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ credits for both
energy efficiency and materials selection may also be available.
All shipments after May 1, 2007 will have NEMA Premium® efficient
motors.
